Camera Lens Guard

The most expensive glass on the phone, protected for the least.

Why it exists

Camera repair is one of the most expensive out-of-warranty jobs on a modern phone, and the lens is the part most likely to meet a table first.

The problem

Case lips help, but the moment the phone is out of the case — on a desk, in a pocket with keys, propped against a wall — the lens is the highest and most exposed point on the device.

The solution

Individual tempered glass guards fitted to each lens, thin enough not to interfere with the ring and clear enough not to soften the image.

Details

Built around three decisions.

  • Per-lens fitting rather than a single covering plate
  • Anti-reflective treatment to limit flare in bright light
  • Thin profile that clears the case ring

Materials

Tempered glass with an anti-reflective coating and a precision adhesive ring.

How it works

Each guard sits inside the existing camera bezel, so contact with a surface lands on the guard and the phone's own ring rather than on the lens element.

Care

Keep the ring free of dust before fitting. Replace if chipped — a cracked guard scatters light.
