Why it exists
Most diffusers are appliances: pumps, timers, lights and a plastic tank that clouds. They ask a room to accommodate them.
The problem
An object bought to make a space calmer should not add a glowing light and a motor to it, and should not stop working when a small pump fails.
The solution
A porous stone that draws oil upward and releases it slowly into the room. No power, no moving parts, nothing to replace but the oil.

Natural porous stone with an unglazed top and sealed base.
How it works
Oil is absorbed into the stone and evaporates from its surface. Coverage is a small room rather than a whole floor, which is the honest range for passive diffusion.
